Vizen Tuition is a nationally recognised provider of high-quality tuition in London. They have fully qualified staff that regularly require access on the go or when working from home. The Head of Vizen set out on a journey to expand with new branches around London to offer home tutoring and therefore required access to shared learning resources to create a more effective way of communicating.

In recent years Vizent has grown to become one of the top private institutes in the UK. Due to our vast expansion, access to shared data from different sites has become a factor of importance. Our aim was to enable access to shared data and communicate with each other efficiently.

Vizent will continue to grow and expand throughout the UK so apart of our goal is to have the capacity to do so if needed.  We not only want communication between staff but also the ability of the student to communicate with staff. In addition, being able to access school data from home without data being compromised is a priority.

Vizent is a large institution; in order to reach all of the students, across different campuses, data must be accessible in a secure and consistent manner.

Vizent wants to stamp its mark in private tutoring.  They didn’t just want a solution that works but a solution that will make a great impact on how they work. They also wanted to train their staff so that they were up to date in their knowledge and skills, so they could anticipate what their students would want.

Fortunately, Vizent staff have used Outlook in previous roles so training on the new features of Outlook in office365 went smoothly. Office365 has been implemented to facilitate communication between staff and students. Shared drives are created for both staff and students to access at home and in school.

Microsoft Azure has been chosen as a hybrid cloud solution for Vizent meet their business challenges, it also gives the freedom to build, manage and deploy applications on a large network, using handpicked tools and framework.

Fortranix provided a two-week training programme focused on good practices and how to use Outlook effectively. We continue to provide support for the institute and are always only a phone call away, ready to resolve any problems that may occur. The migration and implementation of the cloud went smoothly with minimum disruption to staff and students.
